We provide guided excursions / Lectures for touristic groups, school children and visitors (min 5 persons) in German, or English in accordance with the level and the demands of the group. During one or two hours lecture/tour at site, you will get the overview of the history of the Synagogue and the Community in Lucerne and Switzerland over 120 years till present, about Judaism in Switzerland, Israel and all over the World, also the Jewish symbols, Holidays etc. as:

1.The history of Jewish community in Luzern and in Switzerland until today and according to the Jewish population in the world. actual political issues, Israel, etc.
2. The history of the synagogue, architecture etc.
3. The Jewish daily life and symbols, and why we do it?
4. What are the differences and similarities to other religions?
5. The Jewish holidays, (Chanuka, Pessach Purim, New year etc.)
6. What is it “Kosher food”, why Jewish people eat Kosher food?
7. The Jewish Calendar,(Year 5785…) what is the different to the normal calendar (2025)?
8. The Bible and the Torah, Mishna, Talmud… / 10 commends, Shabbat, etc. – 613 commands …
9. 15-20 minutes which the students can ask any questions and a tour at the Synagogue.
The Lecture can be in German or English and /or other topics and issues than the above.
